About Me

About Chase Mancia

You just need someone who actually gets what it’s like to start from scratch.

When I first started lifting weights as a teenager, I had no idea what I was doing, but something about it clicked. For the first time, I felt strong, grounded, and more like myself. That experience changed everything for me, and it’s the reason I became a trainer.

Now, with over four years of personal training experience, I specialize in helping people feel that same kind of confidence, especially those who’ve never felt fully welcomed in the gym.

I work primarily with LGBTQ+ members and BIPOC folks who are new to weightlifting. Many of my clients feel nervous about getting hurt, looking silly, or not being “fit enough” to start. If that’s you, you’re not alone, and you’re exactly who I built my coaching practice for.

I use functional strength training, form-focused coaching, and mobility work to help you move safely and feel stronger in daily life. That might mean hiking, parenting, aging well, or simply walking into the gym without second-guessing yourself. I care more about how you move than how much you lift. And I want you to have fun while you're learning.

I blend research-backed techniques with what I’ve learned from hundreds of clients, because not every body is equally represented in the science. Real-life experience matters just as much. I’ve built a training space where you don’t have to perform, prove yourself, or push past your limits just to be taken seriously.

You don’t need to be in shape to start. You just need to be curious and willing to try. I’ll take it from there.

If any of this resonated with you, fill out the form and let’s chat! I’d love to learn more about you and see if we’d work well together!
