Strength training that empowers you for life
The Method
There are 3 pillars to my training philosophy to help you feel less intimidated in the gym and more confident in life:
I prioritize making strength training feel safe, welcoming, and doable for everyone. There’s no pressure to do the movements perfectly because I don’t adhere to the all-or-nothing mentality most other coaches force.
Accessibility
I use programing that adapts to someone’s real, changing body and life, rather than forcing them into rigid expectations. This might mean going to a quieter area of the gym, adding more recovery workouts in, or knowing when to push you to explore a new limit. I want you to build skills for long-term autonomy — not just compliance.
Adaptability
I value strength training not only for physical progress but for connection, belonging, and collective growth. This era of everything going digital has isolated us more than ever, so it’s crucial to your mental and emotional wellness to connect with real people face-to-face. This means we might train in groups or meet up with other gyms to build community.

About coach Chase
My name is Chase Mancia and I started lifting weights as a teenager, quickly focusing on growing my glutes and trying to have the “perfect” body. From there, I fell in love with lifting heavy-ass weights, and trained to compete in Oregons first Strongman Competition. After placing second in the women’s division, I continued to lift heavy and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
I’ve been a personal trainer for over four years and have worked with hundreds of clients, learning how to make even the least experienced lifters feel comfortable and confident with weights. My passion comes from the empowerment I felt as a teenager when I first discovered weightlifting—and I’m dedicated to helping others experience that same confidence and strength.
